The Chiefs beat the 49ers 31-20 in Super Bowl LIV in Miami. Some people questioned whether the Chiefs won it or the 49ers lost it.

During the 4th quarter, the 49ers were up 20-10 with around 11 minutes left to go in the 4th quarter. Mahomes didn’t start the game very well, throwing two picks to K’Waun Williams and Tarvarious Moore. Jimmy Garoppolo threw two picks as well to Bashuad Breeland and Kendall Fuller. Before making the Super Bowl the Chiefs had to make two fourth-quarter comeback wins against the Titans and the Texans.

Mahomes passed for 286 yards, two touchdowns and two interceptions. Damien Willaims had 17 carries for 104 yards and two touchdowns. Tyreek Hill had 9 receptions for 107 yards. Sammy Walkins had 5 for 94 yards and a huge catch in the fourth quarter, burning Richard Sherman for a 30-plus yard gain. Jimmy Garoppolo passed for 219 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions. Raheem Mostert only had 12 rushing attempts for 58 yards.

I feel like the 49ers blew the game and the Chiefs won it because the 49ers were up by 10 points with 11 minutes left to go. The Chiefs figured out their offense and the 49ers defense was just lost. Most of the Chiefs points came in the fourth quarter with a Travis Kelce Touchdown, and Damien Williams rushed for a touchdown in the fourth quarter to secure the win 31-20 with 2:44 minutes remaining in the game. Kendall Fuller intercepted Jimmy Garopollo with a minute left to wrap up the game.
