Packers 2019-20 Season Recap

Packers were predicted to be fourth in their division, but surprisingly they came out number one with the record of 13-3. The Packers had an up and down season with some ugly wins and some very ugly losses.
THE FIRST 11 GAMES OF THE SEASON
The packers started out 3-0 on the season defeating the Bears, Vikings and Broncos. Through the first three games of the season, Rodgers had 647 yards passing and four thrown touchdowns. Davante Adams had 15 receptions and 197 yards receiving while Aaron Jones had 46 rushing attempts for 154 rushing yards.
The Packers lost to the Eagles with a late-game interception by Nigel Bradham. After the loss, the Packers got right back on track winning the next four games in a row. Through those 4 games, Aaron Rodgers had 1,255 passing yards, 10 touchdowns and 1 Interception. Aaron Jones had 54 rushing attempts and 271 rushing yards plus 75 receiving yards.
In week 9, The Packers fell to the Chargers in Los Angles 26-11, allowing Rivers to pass for 294 yards with 7 incompletions. Mike Williams had 3 receptions with 111 receiving yards. The next week the Packers took down the Panthers 24-16 at Lambeau Field. Week 11, the Packers fell with an ugly loss to the 49ers 37-8 in San Fransisco. The packers Offensive Line allowed four sacks with Rodgers only passing for 104 yards and one touchdown.
THE FINAL 5 WINS OF THE SEASON
After that ugly loss to the 49ers, the Packers won the last 5 straight games of the season. Through those last 5 games of the season, Rodgers had 977 passing yards, Davante Adams had 30 receptions with 314 receiving yards with 3 touchdowns. Also, Aaron Jones had 75 rushing attempts with 406 rushing yards.
NEW DEALS FOR NEW PLAYERS
Before the season started we signed Adrian Amos for your years worth 37 million. He’s guaranteed 21 million his first two years on his deal. The Packers also signed Preston Smith and Za’Darius Smith. Za’Darius Smith signed a four-year deal worth 66 million. Preston Smith signed a four-year deal worth 52 million and 16 million guaranteed at signing. The last time the Packers made the playoffs was in 2016 when they lost 21-44 against the Falcons.
In the 2020 playoffs, the Packers played the Seahawks at Lambeau Field. The Packers won 28-23. Rodgers threw for 243 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions. Davante Adams had a breakout game with eight receptions for 160 yards with two touchdowns. The Packers once again played the 49ers in San Fransisco. They fell 37-20. Rodgers had 326 passing yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. The Packers run defense let Raheem Mostert rush for 29 attempts with 220 yards with four touchdowns.
Overall the Packers had a better season than most people would’ve thought they would have.
