The 58th annual Super Bowl is set to happen on Sunday, February 11, 2024, in Las Vegas, Nevada. The Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers are scheduled to play at 5:30 p.m. Reba McEntire is going to be singing the National Anthem. The last Super Bowl these two teams played each other was four years ago (which was a leap year), and now they face each other once again this year (which is also a leap year! How crazy is that?).

The Kansas City Chiefs went 11-6-0 this season with 39 total touchdowns, 657 passing yards, and 382 rushing. Their longest winning streak this season was 4 games. The San Francisco 49ers went 12-5-0, which is a pretty even matchup with the Chiefs. The 49ers ended their season with 61 touchdowns, 519 passing yards and 266 rushing. Their longest winning streak went to 6 games in a row.

With any football game, tensions between the team’s fans are high. The Super Bowl is a very exciting event for football fans all across the country to watch and cheer for their favorite teams, especially since this matchup is one of a kind.
